Lost: The Final Season and Lost: The Complete Series DVD sets both come out today.

You're either excited or you don't care.

Both sets include a 15 minute epilogue showing island life with Hurley and Ben in charge.

As you know, the island storyline ended on the show with Jack dying. WIth his final breaths Jack sees his friends escape the island, as Vincent, the golden retriever, curls up next to Jack to be with him during his final moments on Earth.

I imagine the epilogue includes a scene of Hurley stumbling across Vincent devouring Jack's corpse. Dogs have a hard time passing on rotting meat. Now that I have burned that image into your mind, click this link and help your MRS brothers out. A portion of the purchase will come to us to help maintain this here brilliant website.

While we're on the subject of Lost and Hurley, Weezer released the album cover for their upcoming album. It's a picture of Jorge Garcia's beaming mug, which was picked by frontman, Rivers Cuomo because "it just had this amazing vibe. We didn't want to do a fourth self-titled record and we knew people would refer to it as 'the Hurley record' even if left it without that title, so we just called it Hurley. No words are on the cover because all we wanted was his amazing face."

Jorge Garcia told MTV.com that it's a huge honor. {{{http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1645570/20100811/weezer.jhtml}}}-@@-{{{"I think the [Lost} action figure still kind of trumps it, but just coming from where I come from, it's extremely special and dear to my heart that this actually happening."}}}

Sadly (or happily, depending on your stance), none of the tracks are inspired by or related to Lost.

No worries, Green Day, you can move forward with your idea of a Lost -inspired rock opera as told from the politically charged perspective of the pilot, Frank Lapidus.

Weezer's Hurley album is due to be released on September 14.
