It was announced today that Seth MacFarlane, creator of Family Guy, American Dad, and The Cleveland Show, would be rebooting The Flintstones for Fox.

Apparently, MacFarlane has been trying to get this deal done for some time and is a fan of the property, saying "“One of the first things I ever drew was Fred Flintstone."

Obviously, Dino will become a deep-voiced intellectual, Pebbles will be an evil genius intent on ruling the world and killing her mother, and Barney will say "giggity, giggity" whenever a pretty cave woman walks into the room. 

As any fan of Family Guy knows, the show is famous for its pop culture homages. In honor of this announcement, I've rounded up some Flintstones jokes that have appeared in Family Guy. Is this what Seth MacFarlane has in store for The Flintstones...we'll see when it premieres in 2013.
